What instant really refers to

What should be in a genuine confirmation
A real confirmation document should include a specific hotel name, address and dates, not just a category like four star Makkah hotel. It should include a flight booking reference you can look up directly with the airline, not just a route and date. And if a visa or permit is included, it should reference how that's being processed, through which platform, and roughly when you should expect the actual visa document itself. If any of these are missing or vague, ask for the specific detail before you consider your booking properly locked in.
How to independently check what you've been sent
You don't have to take a confirmation email at face value. Airline booking references can usually be checked directly on the airline's own website using your surname and reference number, separate from whatever your agency sent you.
