Get three Umrah quotes and you'll probably get three very different numbers, even when the packages look almost identical on paper. That gap is rarely random. It usually comes down to what's quietly left out of the cheaper price: a hotel that's a shuttle ride from the Haram instead of a short walk, a visa fee charged separately, or a package that doesn't actually include the trip between Makkah and Madinah. Some packages include full board, some include breakfast only, and some include no meals at all. A quote that looks cheaper can end up costing more once you've added ten or fourteen days of eating out for two or three meals a day. Whether the visa fee sits inside the headline price or gets billed separately is one of the easiest things to miss. Room occupancy
The price per person changes significantly depending on whether you're booked in a single, double, triple, or quad room, since the cost of the room is effectively split between however many people are sharing it. A cheap looking package quoted on a quad share basis can end up more expensive than it first appears once you convert it to the double or single occupancy you actually need. When comparing quotes, always ask operators to quote on the same occupancy basis so you're comparing like with like.
Baggage Allowance and Other Fine Print
Baggage allowance is easy to overlook but can add real cost, especially if you're planning to bring back Zamzam water, dates, or gifts.
