Registration and your visa are two separate things

Registering on Nusuk is how the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah tracks who is performing Umrah, connects you with licensed service providers, and, if you choose a comprehensive package, issues your visa as part of that package. Nusuk Umrah describes itself as a one stop shop overseen by the Ministry, offering Umrah and Ziyarah packages through the Ministry's authorised service providers rather than external agents. Understanding that distinction early saves a lot of back and forth later.
Setting up your account
Registration starts on the Nusuk Umrah website. You select your country of residence, then create an account using a personal email address, one email per applicant, including children travelling with you. You'll receive a verification code by both email and SMS to confirm your details, so make sure the mobile number you enter can actually receive international messages. Once verified, you'll fill in your passport information, contact details, and, depending on the package you're after, some visa related information.
Choosing how you want to register

Keep everyone's passport details and confirmation numbers organised together, ideally in one document you control, since group bookings can otherwise get separated if different family members created their accounts using different emails. If someone's circumstances change after registering, such as a new passport being issued, don't assume the platform will pick this up automatically. Log back in and update the details yourself, or contact support directly, since a mismatch between what's on file and what's in their passport can cause problems at the airport.
Keep your confirmation details safe
Once your registration is accepted, you'll receive a reference or application number. Save it somewhere you can find quickly, a notes app, a printed copy, wherever you keep other travel documents, because you'll likely need it again if you contact support, check your status, or if a family member's registration needs to be linked to yours.
Doing it yourself versus using an accredited agent
